Secondary School Programs
We continue work on ensuring mastery of writing, comprehension & oral communication by strengthening language skills built in primary school years.
Emphasising critical thinking, skills and techniques, we build competence to excel in all question areas and components of the English curriculum, including:
- Composition – Mastering formats and writing strategies for narrative, discursive and expository essay types
- Comprehension – Active reading strategies, identifying question types and appropriate answers
- Critical Thinking – Developing critical thinking and reasoning skills
- Summary Writing – Identifying key information and learning to express and paraphrase the information clearly and concisely
- Grammar – Improving via exercises in editing and sentence reconstruction
- Vocabulary – Defining and using unknown words correctly in a context of a sentence via cloze passages
- Oral Communication – Expressing thoughts, opinion confidently and fluently
We build on the foundations laid out in our primary school curriculum with programs that are based on the “Chinese Curriculum Standard for Secondary Schools” by the Ministry of Education (MOE). Our programs enable our learners to read and write appropriate explanatory, argumentative and practical passages and essays.

Math education plays an important role in equipping every learner with the necessary knowledge and skills and the capacities to think logically, critically and analytically to participate in the future economy and society. For some, it is just a tool to be used to meet the needs of everyday life; for others, learning more advanced math will give them a head start in their aspirations of pursuing STEM education and careers.
Our programs focus on
Lower Secondary:
- Learning and understanding basic Math concepts
- Learning and acquiring problem-solving techniques
- Developing and forming answer verification habits and skills
Upper Secondary:
- Learning and understanding higher level Math concepts
- Divide and conquer – learning how to break down complex problems into smaller problems to solve
- Developing and acquiring techniques and a habit of answer verification.
Our differentiated upper secondary school programs will aid learners as they prepare for one of the following courses of study:

- GCE O Levels – E-Math & A Math
- IP Math
- IB Math
Singapore’s science syllabus for lower secondary is a continuation and further development of its Primary Science Syllabus.
