My daughter, Charis, did not do well in her P5 mid-year exams in 2019 – she barely managed to pass 2 core subjects and had failed 2 others. Read More
I was feeling very stressed [about the education of my daughters] when I stumbled across Elucidation Learning in July 2019. I remember Lena [listening] patiently and [assuring] me that it was possible for Charis to fare well despite the misgivings of her school teachers. She suggested that I start her on a specially designed program that they had.
Charis joined the Daily Revision Program by Elucidation Learning that July and by year’s end, she went on to pass all exam subjects in school. Though the improvements were small, I was glad as we had managed to turn things around and these were her first steps in the correct direction.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 came upon us and Singapore went into a prolonged lockdown in 2020. The “circuit-breaker” months didn’t help but within a short timeframe, Lena and her team at Elucidation Learning qrose to the challenge by switching to having lessons online and working closely with parents and advising us, on a regular basis, of the progress of our individual children.
As soon as restrictions were eased, the Elucidation team stepped in again, organising additional lessons for the P6 cohort in the centre – reviewing past learning, directing students’ revision and ramping up PSLE preparations as the exams were just around the corner.
As part of the Daily Program, Lena and the team watched Charis closely as she needed more help. Charis achieved 2As and 2Bs for her PSLEs in 2020. Relative to where she had started, these results were a huge improvement indeed. For this, I am thankful to the Elucidation team for their efforts and the work they did with Charis.
I am especially thankful to Lena for taking the time to listen to me that fateful day in July 2019.
Thank you, Lena, for the warm friendship and for believing in Charis.

Teacher Florence is a caring and patient teacher, willing to push her students to achieve their best potential. Read More
I initially found Teacher Florence to be rather strict in her teaching mannerisms and methods and I did not think that her classes would be beneficial to me. As it turns out, i have come to like classes with Teacher Florence as I not only learn new and interesting scientific knowledge in every lesson with her, I also learn how to answer questions with ease.
Despite my earliest misgivings, Teacher Florence has come to be the one teacher I know I can look for and turn to when I have doubts or questions in my Science learning.
Teacher Florence can also be a very fun teacher – she jokes with us from time to time to decrease our stress levels and to make classes with her much more interesting. Even with the jokes and fun, she is able to balance “study” and “play” well.
Thank you, Teacher Florence.

When she was in P5, Jia Xuan would usually be scoring between 24 to 28 (PSLE level 3) for her English compositions. Read More
Ms Thia, Jia Xuan’s English tutor at Elucidation, is an affable and patient teacher who is well-liked by her students. She helps them to not only learn the proper way of writing, she also encourages them to learn more vocabulary to help them in their composition writing.
Credit for Jia Xuan’s tremendous improvement should go to Ms Thia for all the hard work and time she has spent on Jia Xuan and her classes.

As a father, I want the best for my son. Asher had been tuition centre hopping and I did not see much improvement Read More
To my surprise, Asher’s feedback was how he enjoyed the way and methods their tutors, especially Ms Lena, used to teach the subjects. Previously an average student, Asher’s school results have since improved tremendously. I am very pleased not only in his improvement but also in his attitude towards learning.
Elucidation, please keep up the good work. I [have been recommending and continue to] strongly recommend [Elucidation] to anyone who needs a positive learning journey!
