Teacher Lena was always there to help by teaching me how to do each sum step-by-step and always showed me alternative methods to solve the same Math problem sum. In addition, she would also get me to practice doing challenging questions so as to get exposure to different types of questions and to allow me to practice applying different concepts that she had taught me in different situations. Teacher Lena’s coaching had helped my results to improve greatly.

通过中介我认识了Lena老师。Lena老师是一位非常好的老师，不仅教的好，而且还很有责任心。当她知道译萱刚从中国来，英文不好，所以在补科学时她耐心的将我女儿不会的单词记录下来，教她用方法去记忆，去运用。慢慢的女儿有了很明显的进步，考试成绩一次比一次好。最近的这次半期考试，我女儿考了87分，我们全家都为她感到高兴！

It has been almost 2 years since I brought my daughter to study in Singapore. In the beginning, my daughter’s foundational English language skills were near zero and in turn, this proved to be a hurdle in her Science lessons in school – she scored just 19 marks in her first Science examination in school.

I was introduced to Ms Lena through an agency. Ms Lena is a good tutor; Besides teaching well, she is also very responsible. When she knew that my daughter had just come from China with very poor English skills, Ms Lena would not only explain and write down the words and phrases that my daughter did not know during their Science lessons together, Ms Lena would teach her how to remember and use these key phrases and words. Over time, I could see that my daughter slowly progressed, and her examinations and tests results gradually improved. As a result, my daughter scored 87 marks in the most recent school mid-year examinations. Our whole family was overjoyed at her results!

I’d like to thank Ms Lena for her patience, sense of responsibility, and her comprehensive teaching methodologies in helping my daughter. My daughter now has a very strong interest in Science.

Elucidation Learning helped me by working on the areas I was weak in and also further strengthened my language abilities. I was soon able to write and speak fluently which helped me greatly during my O’ Levels oral examinations. Through hard work and their coaching, I was able to attain an A2 in my GCE O Levels.
